Small- to medium-size panel and module maker Giantplus Technology has released its third-quarter 2016 financial report, recording net EPS of NT$0.06, the lowest in six quarters.

For the third quarter, Giantplus posted consolidated revenues of NT$2.940 billion (US$93.2 million), growing 2.93% on quarter; gross margin of 12.85%, down 2.75pp; net operating profit of NT$72.6 million, down 62.38%; and net profit of NT$27.8 million, down 86.51%.

The large drop in net operating profit was mainly due to loss of about NT$100 million from foreign exchange, Giantplus said.

Giantplus recorded consolidated revenues of NT$8.639 billion, gross margin of 14.49%, net operating profit of NT$437.0 million, net profit of NT$364.5 million and net EPS of NT$0.83 for January-September.
