Radiant Opto-Electronics shipped 14.766 million backlight units (BLUs) in November, increasing 12.21% on month, according to the company.

Shipments consisted of 11.265 million BLUs mainly used in smartphones and tablets, up 14.71% on month, 3.429 million units used in notebooks and LCD monitors, up 5.25%, and 61,000 units used in LCD TVs, down 17.57%.

Radiant is a supplier of BLUs for the iPhone 7 and MacBook Pro. The company reported consolidated revenues of NT$4.871 billion (US$153 million) for November, increasing 5.37% on month but decreasing 18.88% on year, and NT$41.550 billion for January-November, declining 11.19% on year.
