Coretronic has disclosed it shipped 5.59 million backlight units (BLUs) in October, decreasing 11% on month, and 61.56 million units during January-October, dropping 21% on year.

Coretronic expects BLU shipments in the fourth quarter to fall 10-15% sequentially.

Coretronic also shipped 101,300 DLP projectors in October, slipping 19% on month, and 956,000 units during January-October, dipping 3% on year.

Coretronic posted consolidated revenues of NT$6.088 billion (US$187 million) for October, declining 7.64% on month and 9.94% on year, and those of NT$57.170 billion for January-October decreased 16.65% on year.
