Models adopt arched screens for a more immersive viewing experience. Other units also boast a narrow bezel, giving a clean and modern look.
China makers are bringing an IMAX-like theater experience into the living room by adopting curved screens in their selections of UDH TVs. One featured model, for example, uses an arched Samsung panel said to provide an immersive viewing experience than its flat counterparts. Resolutions fall in the 3840x2160-pixel territory while contrast ratio reaches 5,000:1. Vertical and horizontal viewing angles are up to 178 degrees.
Size remains king as units above 80in become more popular. Many models also highlight an almost invisible bezel for a modern look.
Some UHD TVs have legs for support while others can be mounted on walls. Units are Wi-Fi-enabled, giving room for their smart features. 3D display support is also in demand.
Here are six recently released models handpicked by our Market Analysts for representing the current trends in UHD TVs.
